Ponsona
(InspireJam February 2022 entry)
A weeklong game jam entry I helped work on along with two other developers from the Dallas Society of Play. The theme of InspireJam was to find what inspires you and make a game (or other media project) based on that. Our design lead Slyonics chose the Persona franchise and Panel De Pon. Combining the RPG battles of persona and the puzzle elements of Panel, we created a short prototype of this gameplay cross. As a part of the team, I designed the UI and NPC sprites, along with the game's sound effects. You can download and play the game for free here: https://slyonics.itch.io/ponsona (Windows only)
Dreadlight
(UTD SGDA Arcade Jam 2022 Best Overall/Best Visuals Winner)
A game jam project I worked on with 3 other UTD students for the Student Game Developer Association club in partnership with the UTD makerspace to make games for their new arcade cabinet project. The game theme was "combo" and had to be able to be played with a simple arcade control setup. Our team decided on a simple wave defense game, where the player must block incoming enemies. On top of that, we added a light analog horror theme with an authentic CRT filter and corrupted game elements. For this project, I worked on the pixel art assets and animations.

Starbound - Frackin' Universe
(Community contribution driven modpack for Chucklefish's Starbound game)
A project I became involved with via the modpack's official discord server back in fall of 2020. Since then, I have contributed various sprites ranging from undersea monsters to unusual food items. I learned how to work with the version-control software, Github, alongside preparing assets to be shipped to a final build. Additionally, I have done small item code work via JSON scripting and Starbound's internal LUA API.
